Another year of wonderful talent displayed by the Performers and truly enjoyed during the 2017th Young Artist Cup Competition! Our congratulations to the winners from both nights and all the performers and the commitment they have made to develop their talents.

Each year brings an interesting mix of instruments and music. This year we had two harps compete and a marimba, who won first place. We’ve even had bagpipes in the past and it’s so fun to see instruments that we’re not used to seeing very often.

Our sincere thanks to the Mountain Crest and Ridgeline High School Administrations; their staffs; all of our wonderful Sponsors; that make the awards possible; the audience that encourages the performers through their support; the Contestants for their dedication to perfecting their skills; and our fantastic Young Artist Cup Committee, that all make this Competition the success it is.

Looking forward to another great and entertaining Competition next year!!!!!!

    George & Julie Whitney

  2. The Young Artists Cup was so fun to participate in! It was an amazing experience and I learned a lot from it! The Young Artists Cup is such an awesome event and competition.

A huge thanks to the founders, George and Julie Whitney for putting on such an amazing production. Also thank you to the sponsors who also helped make this possible. It is a unique opportunity for youth to participate in an event as high quality as this one. Thank you!

  3. Thank you to all those who sponsored the Young Artist Cup this year! It was so fun to perform along with all of the other participants and I was (and am) so grateful for the huge surprise of being selected as one of the winners. It has been such a great growing experience being able to perform in the Young Artist Cup for the past three years and I’m glad to see that my hard work finally paid off in my last year. Performing for the last three years not only in Young Artist Cup but other places as well has really helped me to become more comfortable performing in front of people. Although I still get a little nervous when it’s a competition…
